MUMBAI, India, May 30 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202311081068 A) filed by Hero Motocorp Limited, New Delhi, on Nov. 29, 2023, for 'fixture for engine assembly of a vehicle.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention discloses a fixture (302) for assembling an engine hanger (202) to an engine (132) and a body frame (134) of a vehicle (100). The fixture (302) includes a pivot member (304) and a supporting plate (306). A first side (312) of the supporting plate (306) is positioned on one side of the pivot member (304) and a second side (314) of the supporting plate (306) is positioned on another side of the pivot member (304). The first side (312) supports the engine (132) and the engine hanger (202), and the second side (314) supports the body frame (134). Consequently, a first pivot portion (222) of the engine hanger (202) is pivotally coupled to the body frame (134) at a first predetermined angle (?1), and a second pivot portion (224) of the engine hanger (202) is pivotally coupled to the engine (132) at a second predetermined angle (?2)."
