MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411019284 A) filed by Sanskriti University, Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, on March 15, 2024, for 'finger nail posture correction device.'

Inventor(s) include Dr. Sachin Gupta.

The application for the patent was published on Sept. 26, under issue no. 39/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A finger nail posture correction device, comprises a horizontal plate 1 configured with a pair of motorized tweezers 2 for restoring the user's nail, a microphone 3 positioned on the plate 1 for enabling a user to give input commands for correcting posture of the finger nail, a camera 4 installed with the plate 1 via a rod 5 for capturing multiple images of the nail, a pair of telescopically operated links 6 incorporated between the tweezers 2 and plate 1 for gripping the corners of the nail in a secured manner, a suction cup 7 configured with the plate 1 via an electromagnetic spring 8 for adhering the suction cup 7 over the user's nail, and an L-shaped telescopically operated rod 9 installed with the plate 1 and attached with a motorized clipper 10 for pulling the nail in a manner to restore posture of the nail."
