According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A finger-mounted suction apparatus (100) is disclosed for handling dental prosthetic components such as crowns, inlays, onlays, and veneers during dental procedures. The apparatus (100) comprises a ring base (104) configured to be worn on a finger of a user, a suction cup (101) mounted on the ring base (104) and adapted to temporarily retain a dental prosthesis by negative pressure, a manually actuated micro bulb (102) operatively coupled to the suction cup (101) for generating suction pressure, and a release valve (103) configured to selectively release the negative pressure for disengaging the prosthesis. In certain embodiments, the ring base (104) includes an inner grip lining (105) to provide a non-slip and comfortable fit. The apparatus (100) may be formed from autoclavable medical-grade materials for sterilization and reuse. The disclosed apparatus enables controlled, single-handed or hands-free handling of dental prosthetic components while reducing the risk of contamination and accidental dropping."
