MUMBAI, India, Feb. 13 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202521132279 A) filed by Marwadi University, Rajkot, Gujarat, on Dec. 26, 2025, for 'field-wearable agricultural assistance device.'

Inventor(s) include Abhiram Kasthuri; Santhosh Babu Narapam; Simrin Fathima Syed; Dr. Madhu Shukla; Vipul Ladva; Akshay Ranpariya; and Neel Dholakia.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A field-wearable agricultural assistance device, comprising a pair of wearable shoe structures 101 to assist a user while traversing an agricultural field, a cylindrical member 102 accommodating user's shin and calf portion providing ergonomic support, a ring 103 having an iris lid 104 adjusting to ensure a custom fit, a foot stabilizing unit detecting ground evenness, stabilize user's foot and prevent discomfort, an inspection unit for identifying crop type, height and color characteristics, a spraying unit for for spraying pesticide for harmful insects on crop, a plurality of pneumatic spikes 109 for aeration while user transverses field, a soil inspection unit analyzing soil nutrients, a Peltier unit maintaining comfort and a pair of vibrating units 115 providing directional guidance for field traversal."
