MUMBAI, India, Sept. 12 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411013256 A) filed by Chandigarh University; and Chandigarh University Technology Business Incubator, Mohali, Punjab, on Feb. 23, 2024, for 'fence assembling assistive device.'

The application for the patent was published on Sept. 12, under issue no. 37/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A fence assembling assistive device comprises a platform 1 having plurality of wheels 2 placed underneath to maneuver the platform over the ground surface, a chamber 3 to store multiple helical fence wires, a motorized clamp 4 for picking the first or second wire, an artificial intelligence based camera 5 to detect linkage of wires, a motorized bearing 6 for rotating the clamp in a manner to rotate the second helical wire, a motorized slider 7 to provide a linear motion to the second helical wire, a motorized conveyor belt 8 for transferring inked wires in forward direction, a pair of motorized grippers 9 attached with welding unit 10 for welding the fence linkage in order to enhance the rigidity, a touch-enabled screen 11 enables the user to input details regarding the length of fence, and a blade 12 for cutting the fence as per user's requirement."
