MUMBAI, India, July 25 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517065583 A) filed by Huawei Technologies Co. Ltd., Guangdong, China, on July 9, for 'feed network, antenna module, and device.'

Inventor(s) include Xue, Tuanjie; Zhang, Guanxi; Yang, Jing; Tao, Mingcui; and Li, Xiaolai.

The application for the patent was published on July 25, under issue no. 30/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present application discloses a feed network, an antenna module, and a device. The feed network comprises: a first radio frequency interface, a first selection unit, at least one distribution unit, at least one phase shift unit, and a plurality of antenna interfaces. The first selection unit is separately connected to the first radio frequency interface and the at least one distribution unit; each distribution unit is connected to at least two antenna interfaces in the plurality of antenna interfaces by means of one phase shift unit; the first selection unit receives a first radio frequency signal of the first radio frequency interface and transmits the first radio frequency signal to the at least one distribution unit; the phase shift unit adjusts the amplitude and phase of the first radio frequency signal; the distribution unit distributes the adjusted signal to the antenna interfaces connected to the distribution unit. The present application realizes a hybrid beam forming network having a multi-connection form. Compared with single connection, the antenna utilization rate of a multi-connection network architecture is high, and narrow beam gain is achieved. Moreover, the amplitude and phase adjustment is carried out on a radio frequency signal, so that a dynamic network architecture can be realized."
