MUMBAI, India, Aug. 8 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202514004168 A) filed by Illinois Tool Works Inc., Glenview, U.S.A., on Jan. 17, for 'fastener.'
Inventor(s) include Li, Zhilin; Liu, Xiaojin; and Zhang, Leyao.
The application for the patent was published on Aug. 8, under issue no. 32/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present disclosure provides a fastener, including: a supporting disc, the supporting disc having a first side and a second side disposed opposite to each other; a connection portion connected to the first side of the supporting disc and extending in an axial direction of the supporting disc; and a sealing portion connected to a circumferential edge of the supporting disc, the sealing portion including a side wall and an extension portion, wherein the side wall extends from the circumferential edge of the supporting disc in a direction away from the connection portion, the extension portion is located on an outer side of the side wall and extends from a distal end of the side wall toward the supporting disc, and a receiving groove is formed between the extension portion and an outer surface of the side wall. The fastener in the present disclosure has a simple sealing structure."
