MUMBAI, India, April 17 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202621023784 A) filed by Marwadi University, Rajkot, Gujarat, on Feb. 27, for 'farmland analysis and management device.'
Inventor(s) include Ayush Gour; Sukhdeep Kaur; Rajkumar Rajbhar; Deep Dave; and Dr. Sanket Badiyani.
The application for the patent was published on April 17, under issue no. 16/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A farmland analysis and management device, comprising of a body 101 for autonomous traversal over a farmland, a multi-spectral camera 103 to identify plant species, soil deficiencies, diseases, and weeds, a set of vertically guided penetration shaft 104 with curved member 105 for extracting layered soil samples, an enclosed soil analysis chamber 106 for detecting real time evaluation of soil quality, a plurality of electronically controlled nozzle 107 for dispensing fertilizers, nutrients, pesticides, fungicides, soil substrates, and water in the soil, a set of articulated arms 109 with different cutter 110 and rotary blades 111 for executing localized tissue removal or weed excision, at least one moisture sensor for sensing real time hydration levels, and at least one control valve 113 to restore depleted soil sections with appropriate water and substrate quantities."
