MUMBAI, India, Aug. 29 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441014202 A) filed by JAIN, Bangalore, Karnataka, on Feb. 27, 2024, for 'farm produce storage device.'

The application for the patent was published on Aug. 29, under issue no. 35/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A farm produce storage device comprises of an inverted U-shaped frame 1 positioned on a ground surface and coupled with multiple of chambers 2, a camera 4 for detecting type of the farm produce placed within the container 3, a motorized slider 5 for translating and positioning the frame 1 in proximity to each of the determined chambers 2, a telescopically operated gripper 6 for placing the farm produce in the chambers 2, a curved-shaped sieved member 7 as via a motorized hinge 8 for tilting and deploying the member 7 over chambers 2 to cover the chambers 2 in view of protecting the farm produce, iris pores for draining the water in a vessel 9, a temperature sensor for detecting temperature of surroundings, and an RTC (Real-Time Clock) module for detecting time duration for which the farm produce are placed in the chambers 2."
