Inventor(s) include Dr. A. Maria; Tulika Mallik; Shreya Saravanan; and Hanah Saafiya.

The application for the patent was published on Feb. 27, under issue no. 09/2026.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Online recruitment platforms are increasingly exploited by fraudulent entities to post fake job advertisements, resulting in financial loss and misinformation for job seekers. The system analyses job descriptions using natural language processing techniques and classifies job postings as genuine, suspicious, or fraudulent. In addition to classification, the system generates interpretable alerts by identifying suspicious keywords, phrases, or rule-based indicators that contribute to the prediction outcome. The proposed solution enhances transparency and reliability in automated recruitment systems, assists job seekers in identifying potential scams, and supports recruitment platforms in maintaining security and trust. The invention is scalable, user-friendly, and suitable for deployment across online job portals."
