MUMBAI, India, Jan. 9 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511113067 A) filed by IIMT College of Engineering, Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh, on Nov. 17, 2025, for 'eye sight monitoring system and method thereof.'

Inventor(s) include Mr. Shubham Prajapati.

The application for the patent was published on Jan. 9, under issue no. 02/2026.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An eye sight monitoring system includes a plurality of sensors (102) configured to capture eye-related and environmental data, at least one camera (104) for acquiring image or video data of user eye activity and surroundings, and a processor (106) operatively coupled to a memory (108) storing instructions which, when executed, cause processing of data to extract visual and physiological features including blink rate, eye movement, gaze direction, screen distance, and ambient lighting. The processor analyzes the features using algorithms to detect early signs of eye strain, fatigue, or visual discomfort and generates outputs including suggested breaks, screen dimming, or eye exercises. The outputs are transmitted to a server (132) or an application interface (134) for real-time monitoring, notifications, and long-term trend analysis."
