According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An eye discomfort preventive cooking assistive device, comprising a frame 101 configured with a pair of temple posts 102 to be rested on a user's ear, an inbuilt microcontroller adjust length of temple posts 102 and angle via a motorized hinge joint, a plate 103 mounted on front portion of frame 101 extends beyond frame 101 for sealing user's eyes, an imaging unit 104 coupled with an eye blink sensor to detect eye blink rate of user and tear production, for detecting any increase in irritation and discomfort, a dual-direction airflow micro fans 105 mounted on frame 101 for redirecting air away from user's face, an odor neutralizing filter pad 106 installed on frame 101 absorbs vapors to prevent entrance inside sealed frame 101, a spraying unit arranged in frame 101 for spraying soothing liquid when eye irritation is detected, to neutralize onion odors detected by an odor sensor."
