Intellectual Property India Publishes Patent Application for 'Exterior Material For Power Storage Device, Production Method For Same, And Power Storage Device' Filed by Dai Nippon Printing Co. Ltd.

MUMBAI, India, Nov. 14 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517096557 A) filed by Dai Nippon Printing Co. Ltd., Tokyo, on Oct. 7, for 'exterior material for power storage device, production method for same, and power storage device.'

Inventor(s) include Fujikawa, Ryuichi; and Okano, Ai.

The application for the patent was published on Nov. 14, under issue no. 46/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Provided is an exterior material for a power storage device, the exterior material being configured from a laminate comprising at least a base material layer, a barrier layer, and a thermally fusible resin layer in this order from the outside. The thermally fusible resin layer includes a first layer containing homo-polybutylene terephthalate and a second layer containing copolymerized polybutylene terephthalate."

The patent application was internationally filed on Mar. 22, 2024, under International application No.PCT/JP2024/011518.
