MUMBAI, India, April 20 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202514090632 A) filed by Stif France; and Stif (SUZHOU) Components Co. Ltd., Saint-Georges Sur-Loire, France, on Sept. 22, 2025, for 'explosion panel with a thermally insulating material.'

The application for the patent was published on April 17, under issue no. 16/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The invention relates to an explosion panel (1) comprising a fracture element (1') which comprises a weakened zone (11) and a peripheral attachment surface (14), a clamping frame (3) arranged on the peripheral attachment surface without covering the weakened zone (11), and a thermally insulating material (2) coupled to the fracture element (1'). The fracture element (1') has a solid, continuous surface with a three-dimensional profile which is produced in one piece, in particular by stamping, forming a shell which provides an internal volume (V) in which the thermally insulating material (2) is housed."
