MUMBAI, India, Oct. 11 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517078296 A) filed by Emitec Technologies Gmbh, Lohmar, Germany, on Aug. 18, for 'exhaust gas conducting device for supplying exhaust gas of an internal combustion engine to a catalytic converter device, and bicycle.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to an exhaust gas conducting device (100), in particular of a bicycle, for supplying exhaust gas of an internal combustion engine (10) to a catalytic converter device (20) which is designed to aftertreat the exhaust gas. The exhaust gas conducting device (100) comprises a first exhaust gas pipe (110) which is designed to be connected to the internal combustion engine (10) for receiving the exhaust gas of same, and a second exhaust gas pipe (120) which is connected to the first exhaust gas pipe (110) and is designed to supply the exhaust gas to the catalytic converter device (20). The first exhaust gas pipe (110) extends through a wall of the second exhaust gas pipe (120) at least partially into the second exhaust gas pipe (120). The invention also relates to a bicycle having such an exhaust gas conducting device (100)."
