Inventor(s) include Ms. Patibandla Snophi Evangel; Dr. Jagatheesan Alagesan; and Dr. Marthala Praveen Kumar.

The application for the patent was published on May 1, under issue no. 18/2026.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention introduces a structured circuit training-based physiotherapy program designed to help regulate menstrual cycles and reduce menstrual distress in women experiencing irregular menstruation. Irregular menstrual patterns are often associated with hormonal imbalance, sedentary lifestyle, stress, and metabolic disturbances. The proposed system utilizes a sequence of physical exercises including jumping jacks, arm circles, jogging in place, calf raises, squats, side leg kicks, bench step-ups, and side leg lifts arranged in a circuit training format. The exercise program also includes warm-up and cool-down phases to ensure safety and effectiveness. The impact of the intervention is evaluated using weight measurements and menstrual distress assessment through the MEDI-Q questionnaire. Regular participation in the structured exercise program improves physical fitness, stabilizes weight fluctuations, and significantly reduces menstrual distress, providing a safe and non-pharmacological approach for improving menstrual health."
