MUMBAI, India, June 13 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202311083816 A) filed by Lg Electronics Inc., Seoul, Republic of Korea, on Dec. 8, 2023, for 'execution of functional entities on a digital device based on security validation.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "[0046] A system (100) and a method to allow execution of functional entities (106) installed on a digital device (102) based on security validation. The system (100) includes a communication module (108) to obtain a list of functional entities (106) installed on the digital device (102) and to transfer the obtained list to a blockchain network (104). The system (100) further includes a security reporting module (118) to filter extremely vulnerable functional entities from the list of the functional entities (106) transferred to the blockchain network (104) by executing a smart contract. Further, an entity validation module (112) to ascertain security validity of the functional entities (106) installed on the digital device (102) based on the filtered extremely vulnerable functional entities and to allow execution of the functional entities (106) on the digital device (102) based on the ascertained security validity of the functional entities (106)."
