Intellectual Property India Publishes Patent Application for 'Europium (III)-Based Complex And A Method For Preparation Thereof' Filed by Indian Institute Of Technology

MUMBAI, India, Jan. 9 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202541133398 A) filed by Indian Institute Of Technology, Hyderabad, Telangana, on Dec. 30, 2025, for 'europium (iii)-based complex and a method for preparation thereof.'

Inventor(s) include Sivakumar Vaidyanathan; and Priyadarshini Pradhan.

The application for the patent was published on Jan. 9, under issue no. 02/2026.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present disclosure discloses a luminescent europium (III)-based complex having a chemical structure of Formula 1, Formula 1 wherein Further, the present disclosure provides a method for preparing a luminescent europium (III)-based complex having a chemical structure of Formula 1. The said Eu (III) complex has applications in LED devices."
