According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to an improved funnel for filling engine oil in motorcycles and scooters, particularly where the oil inlet is located in a confined or angular position. The invention comprises a wide-mouth inlet (A), a tapered conical section (B), and an L-shaped outlet tube (C) that facilitates smooth oil flow into side-mounted or hard-to-reach engine oil ports. A support tab or bracket is integrally provided to stabilize the funnel on the vehicle body, enabling hands-free operation and preventing spillage. The unique L-shaped configuration allows convenient alignment with the filler port, ensuring clean, efficient, and user-friendly engine oil filling during maintenance. The invention offers a practical solution to overcome the limitations of conventional straight funnels in two-wheeler applications."
