MUMBAI, India, Nov. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202531018748 A) filed by Siksha O Anusandhan, Bhubaneswar, Orissa, on March 3, for 'eraser dust cleaning device.'

Inventor(s) include Sreyansu Satya Prakash.

The application for the patent was published on Nov. 28, under issue no. 48/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An eraser dust cleaning device, comprising a concave enclosure 101 having a plurality of motorized pop-out balls 102 for translating the enclosure 101 over a writing surface, a pair of rectangular plates 103 attached the enclosure 101 provided with a chamber 104 for storage of eraser dust sliding upwards on the plates 103, a vacuum unit 105 incorporated within the enclosure 101 for suctioning of eraser dust into the chambers, an L-shaped telescopic arm 106 attached on the enclosure 101 via a ball and socket joint having a motorized brush for scrubbing eraser dust adhered with the writing surface, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 107 installed on the enclosure 101 to determine location of eraser dust, a hot air blower 108 installed within the enclosure 101 for blowing hot air on the writing surface for drying and a microphone 109 provided on the enclosure 101 for receiving user's audio command."
