MUMBAI, India, Aug. 8 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517060712 A) filed by Japan Aviation Electronics Industry Limited, Tokyo, on June 25, for 'equipment unit.'
Inventor(s) include Nakamura Kazunobu; Li Teng; and Iwao Naoki.
The application for the patent was published on Aug. 8, under issue no. 32/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention allows water that has been guided to a drainage hole from inside a device to be actively drained without increasing the likelihood of entry of foreign material into the device. A device unit 100 comprises a case 70 of which the inside is divided into a waterproof region and a non waterproof region and a metal component 40 mounted inside the non waterproof region of the case. The case 70 includes: a drainage hole 761 having a hole shape 76a which is provided on the non waterproof region side and penetrates through from the inside (surface 72A) of the case to the outside (surface 72B) thereof to discharge water with which the metal component 40 is covered; and a cutout portion 761 in which at the drainage hole 761 a predetermined area around the hole shape 76a is cut out from halfway along the penetrating direction to the outside (surface 72B) of the case."
The patent application was internationally filed on Dec. 07, 2023, under International application No.PCT/JP2023/043779.
