According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention, which pertains to the poultry sector, relates to equipment that transports birds by means of a conveyor belt system, directing each bird towards image capture heads. These heads are equipped with heated air blowers, providing thermal comfort for the animals while simultaneously encouraging the birds to spread their wings immediately upon insertion into the head, allowing photographs to be captured for analysis. Jointly, the place where the bird is located, which contains the blowers, moves vertically and constantly, facilitating the capture of various images with greater accuracy. This allows the operating system to identify individual characteristics with precision, such as potential malformations, absence of feathers at birth, colour deviations from the expected pattern, and mainly, the identification of the sex of each bird."

The patent application was internationally filed on Apr. 02, 2024, under International application No.PCT/BR2024/050135.
