MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517084638 A) filed by Microsoft Technology Licensing, Llc, Redmond, U.S.A., on Sept. 5, for 'equilibrium distribution prediction for molecular systems.'
Inventor(s) include Zheng, Shuxin; Liu, Tieyan; Liu, Chang; Liu, Haiguang; and Shi, Yu.
The application for the patent was published on Sept. 26, under issue no. 39/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A computing system for predicting an equilibrium distribution for a molecular system includes a processor that executes instructions using portions of associated memory to implement an equilibrium distribution prediction model. In an inference phase, the processor is configured to receive input data representing a molecular system, create a graph representation of the molecular system, including position information for each atom in the molecular system, and input the graph representation of the molecular system to a graph neural network. The processor is further configured to receive a plurality of predicted conformations of the molecular system as output from the graph neural network, input each predicted conformation of the plurality of predicted conformations to a diffusion model, predict an equilibrium distribution of conformations for the molecular system, and output the equilibrium distribution."
The patent application was internationally filed on Mar. 16, 2023, under International application No.PCT/CN2023/081965.
