MUMBAI, India, Feb. 27 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202541132807 A) filed by Dr. Mahalingam College Of Engineering And Technology, Pollachi, Tamil Nadu, on Dec. 29, 2025, for 'environment -control ensemble for classroom air quality management using sensor-driven iot coordination.'

Inventor(s) include K. Tamilselvi; K. Ananthi; and R. Rathika.

The application for the patent was published on Feb. 27, under issue no. 09/2026.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "This invention relates to an Internet-connected system that uses coordinated sensing and actuation to control classroom air quality. A network of dispersed environmental sensors that measure temperature, humidity, particulate matter, and carbon dioxide levels forms part of the system. A control module (024) uses wireless actuators to operate air purifiers, windows, and ventilation systems after comparing the measured parameters to programmable criteria. The system maintains energy economy, comfort, and safety while guaranteeing constant ventilation. The idea offers a flexible and automated framework that may be used in study halls, day care centers, schools, and other confined locations."
