MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411017480 A) filed by Chandigarh Group Of Colleges, Mohali, Punjab, on March 11, 2024, for 'entrance management device for enclosure.'
Inventor(s) include Yogesh Kapila; and Dr. Charu Mehan.
The application for the patent was published on Sept. 26, under issue no. 39/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An entrance management device for enclosure, comprising an inverted U shaped frame 1 installed at an entrance of an enclosure and installed with a door 2 via a hinge 3 for allowing/preventing a user to enter within enclosure, an electromagnet keeps door 2 in closed condition, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 4 captures multiple images of person which are compared with pre-saved images in a database for authentication, after successful authentication electromagnets gets deactivated for opening door 2 and upon unsuccessful authentication an LED (Light Emitting Diode) light 5 illuminates for notifying user regarding unauthenticated person, a temperature sensor determines possibilities of fire breakout, a buzzer 8 notifies user regarding fire breakout, an electronic sprayer 6 attached with a water chamber 7 for spraying water outside for reducing flame intensity and simultaneously door 2 gets unlocked to allow user to escape from enclosure."
