MUMBAI, India, Aug. 8 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517063185 A) filed by Net Insight Ab, Solna, Sweden, on July 2, for 'enhanced restart of nodes after interruption.'

Inventor(s) include Dreik, Paul.

The application for the patent was published on Aug. 8, under issue no. 32/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The current disclosure relates to methods for resuming a time of a clock in a first node after interruption of service, and systems for performing the methods. A second node may keep the time during downtime of the first node, and transmit sync pulses to the first node, which may be used for estimating a time error that may be used to adjust the clock of the first node."

The patent application was internationally filed on Jan. 29, 2024, under International application No.PCT/EP2024/052064.
