MUMBAI, India, April 20 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202514083470 A) filed by Toyota Jidosha Kabushiki Kaisha, Aichi, Japan, on Sept. 2, 2025, for 'energy storage cell and energy storage device.'
Inventor(s) include Yukinari Tanabe.
The application for the patent was published on April 17, under issue no. 16/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An energy storage cell has: a cell main body shaped as a solid cylinder; and an insulating film covering an outer peripheral surface of the cell main body, and having an easily-broken portion that breaks easily."
