MUMBAI, India, March 13 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202621008135 A) filed by Ve Commercial Vehicles Ltd., Dhar, Madhya Pradesh, on Jan. 28, for 'energy distribution system for a battery pack.'

Inventor(s) include Dasari Sai Srinivasa Chaitanya; and Girish Ranjan.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention discloses an energy distribution system (100) for a battery pack (102) comprising a battery management system (108) and one or more decks (104), each deck comprising a plurality of battery cells (106), characterized in that: at least one flexible printed circuit (FPC) harness (112) coupled with each deck of the one or more decks (104), configured to route and interconnect one or more signals between the one or more decks (104) and the battery management system (108); a vertical riser (114) configured to provide a controlled, EMI protected path for inter-deck communication while maintaining creepage/clearance; a plurality of snap-in rails (116) operatively coupled to the at least one FPC harness (112), and configured to maintain a predefined distance between the at least one FPC harness (112) and one or more cooling plates (110) of the battery pack (102)."
