MUMBAI, India, Aug. 1 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441005323 A) filed by Tvs Motor Company Limited, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, on Jan. 25, 2024, for 'enclosure for energy storage unit.'
Inventor(s) include Jagelinki Chetan Rao; Manjunath Gudla Subbaramu; Urvashi Singh; Mulugu Sai Nanda Kishore; Pramila Rao Nileshwar; and Datta Rajaram Sagare.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates an enclosure (100) for an energy storage unit. The enclosure (100) includes a holder member (104) and a cover member 5 (110). The cover member (110) is disposed onto the holder member (104). The cover member (104) is provided with a first wall member (112) and a second wall member (114) forming a locking portion (116). The locking portion (116) receives the edge portion (118) of the holder member (114). The enclosure (100) prevents vibrations to the energy storage unit, while also providing water 10 and dust resistance along with decreasing overall cost of manufacturing."
