According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention discloses a self-powered smart safety shoe designed to enhance women's personal security. The shoe integrates piezoelectric energy harvesting elements within the sole to generate electrical power from walking motion, eliminating the need for external charging. The harvested energy is stored internally and used to operate a microcontroller-controlled safety system. In an emergency, a concealed activation switch triggers a non-lethal electric shock to deter an attacker while simultaneously transmitting an SOS alert and real-time GPS location to designated contacts via wireless communication. All components are discreetly embedded within the shoe sole, maintaining comfort, durability, and aesthetics. The invention provides an autonomous, reliable, and wearable personal protection solution suitable for everyday use."
