MUMBAI, India, Jan. 9 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511115226 A) filed by Shree Guru Gobind Singh Tricentenary University, Gurugram, Haryana, on Nov. 21, 2025, for 'empathy and behaviour development system for students.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An empathy and behaviour development system for students, comprising a flat surface 101 supported by multiple legs 102, a seating unit 103 accommodates a student, a user-interface enables authorized users to enter student information to assign detention sessions, multiple pressure transducer 104 detect presence of the student, an inspection unit 105 verifies student identity to authenticate the student, an arresting unit prevent escape during the session, a band 109 configured with a sensing unit to monitor emotional state of the student, an analysis module analyse behavioural and physiological data and select empathy-training content, a training module project educational, reflective multimedia content and selected empathy-training content, a writing pad 115 to enable the student to write or draw reflections after each session, and an aromatherapy unit 116 to release specific scents based on detected stress levels to regulate the student's emotional state."
