MUMBAI, India, Jan. 2 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511103638 A) filed by Manipal University, Jaipur, Rajasthan, on Oct. 28, 2025, for 'emotional well-being enhancement framework for delivery personnel in quick commerce in india.'

Inventor(s) include Dr. Savita Panwar; and Dr Sunny Dawar.

The application for the patent was published on Dec. 12, under issue no. 50/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to an emotional well-being enhancement framework for delivery personnel in quick commerce in India. The present invention framework provides a conceptual model comprising five key support constructs: workload fairness, algorithmic transparency, customer civility, peer support, and incentive stability. These constructs mitigate emotional burnout and enhance job satisfaction among delivery personnel. Delivery workers now work in a high-pressure environment because of quick commerce's (Q-commerce) explosive growth in India. Due to strict delivery deadlines, algorithm-driven schedules, uncertain incentives, and erratic customer behaviour, these employees face emotional difficulties, in particular. The present model is to help welfare organizations, legislators, and platform-based businesses create socially inclusive and emotionally sustainable systems for frontline gig workers. In the socioeconomic context of India, where job opportunities are scarce and gig workers frequently lack social and psychological safety, the invention is especially noteworthy."
