MUMBAI, India, Jan. 9 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511115914 A) filed by Pranveer Singh Institute Of Technology, Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, on Nov. 24, 2025, for 'emergency vehicle smart alert system (evsas).'

Inventor(s) include Dr. Rajendra Kumar Pandey; Dr. Ruchika Rastogi; Jatin Pathak; Samriddhi Pandey; Vaibhav Pandey; Dr. Chandra Kumar Dwivedi; and Dr. Anand Kumar Sonkar.

The application for the patent was published on Jan. 9, under issue no. 02/2026.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The Emergency Vehicle Smart Alert System (EVSAS) helps ambulances, fire trucks and police vans avoid delays in traffic. Drivers of emergency vehicles use a mobile app which sends alerts through the cloud to normal drivers. The alert can be received on a phone or on an IoT dashboard system. Drivers then clear the road earlier, saving time. EVSAS can also work with traffic lights to make the way green. It is simple, low-cost and can save many lives by reducing response time."
