MUMBAI, India, Nov. 21 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202521105045 A) filed by Marwadi University, Rajkot, Gujarat, on Oct. 30, for 'emergency evacuation system for industrial facility.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An emergency evacuation system for industrial facility 102 comprises a plurality of IoT-based sensors 101 to monitor environmental and operational parameters, an central control unit to collect, analyze, and process real-time sensor data to detect unsafe conditions, an authorized user interface to provide real-time monitoring, control, and emergency activation functions exclusively to authorized personnel, a network of RGB LED indicators 103 to display visual alerts and evacuation guidance based on detected threat levels, at least one mobile body 104 to locate, retrieve, and transport individuals from hazardous zones to safe areas, a LiDAR unit 106 scan the surrounding environment in sync with an imaging unit 107, and identify optimal evacuation paths in real-time, an AI-based navigation module connected to the LiDAR unit 106 to process environmental data, dynamically plan movement trajectories, and autonomously control the body's 104 locomotion to avoid debris or blocked routes."
