MUMBAI, India, Feb. 6 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511132253 A) filed by Graphic Era Hill University, Dehradun; and Graphic Era, Dehradun, Uttarakhand, on Dec. 26, 2025, for 'embedded iot and ai-driven system and method for predictive durability analysis of composite construction mixtures.'

Inventor(s) include Khushi Nautiyal; Shinjini Shrivastava; Simar Singh Rayat; Dr. Chandradeep Bhatt; and Dr. Anupam Singh.

The application for the patent was published on Feb. 6, under issue no. 06/2026.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A system for predictive durability analysis integrates a sensor rod (101) embedded within a composite construction mixture during its curing phase, equipped with heterogeneous sensors (102) that transduce physical and chemical properties into electrical signals. A wireless communication module (103) transmits real-time data to a data acquisition and preprocessing unit (104), which cleans, synchronizes, and normalizes the signals. The processed data is analyzed by an AI-driven predictive analytics module (105) employing machine learning models such as Long Short-Term Memory, Random Forests, and Gradient Boosting algorithms to predict long-term durability metrics. The real-time outputs, including sensor readings and predictive durability curves, are displayed on a decision support dashboard (106). The invention, pertaining to the field of composite construction monitoring, also includes methods for calibrating and strategically embedding the sensor rod to enhance predictive accuracy under variable construction site conditions."
