MUMBAI, India, Nov. 21 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441039144 A) filed by S. Hrushikesava Raju; and Koneru Lakshmaiah Education Foundation, Mangalagiri, Andhra Pradesh, on May 19, 2024, for 'embedded door lock system using iot.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Smart door locking system eliminates the issues associated with traditional locking system such as physical key lost results breaking of lock, easy to break the lock is possible by various techniques, lack of mobile application interface, and lack of remote accessing and enabling passwords. To overcome these, a Smart door locking system is needed which revolutionizes home security by leveraging advancements in wireless communication and digital access control. During this system checkup and validation, the components needed to setup are hardware, security algorithm, remote user interface, and validation mechanism. The advantages of this system are maintenance became easy, mobile application UI would allow to change passwords and PINs, and give permissions based on roles such as guests, family members, and admin. It allows also voice commands to control than physical interaction by admin. The history of logs is also to be viewed by admin and allows change of roles, privileges based on incidents happening."
