According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Phishing and malicious emails continue to pose significant cybersecurity threats to organizations and individuals worldwide. This paper presents an automated Email Analysis System developed using FastAPI for detecting, analyzing, and classifying potentially harmful emails. The system extracts and evaluates multiple attributes such as email headers, embedded URLs, sender IP addresses, and attachments. Integrating APis such as VirusTotal and AbuseiPDB, the system verifies malicious indicators and computes a comprehensive threat score. The proposed solution enhances email forensics, enables quick threat identification, and assists in incident response by automating manual analysis tasks. Experimental results demonstrate that the system effectively identifies phishing and malicious patterns with improved accuracy and reduced analysis time."
