MUMBAI, India, July 5 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517054934 A) filed by Hitachi, Ltd., Tokyo, on June 6, for 'elevator.'
Inventor(s) include Yamato Nobuaki; Kawakami Hiroshi; Tomura Yoshiki; and Osuga Mari.
The application for the patent was published on July 4, under issue no. 27/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "This elevator comprises: an elevator car that has an upper frame and a vertical frame; a guide rail that guides movement of the elevator car; and a stopper mechanism that secures the elevator car to the guide rail by engaging a first engagement member provided to the guide rail with a second engagement member provided to the elevator car. The second engagement member is supported by both the upper frame and the vertical frame."
The patent application was internationally filed on Jan. 18, 2023, under International application No.PCT/JP2023/001252.
