MUMBAI, India, March 13 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202621007402 A) filed by Sage University, Indore, Madhya Pradesh, on Jan. 25, for 'electronic surveillance system and method of operating the same.'

Inventor(s) include Dr. Prashant Jain; Prof. Snehlata Mishra; Prof. Kunal Batra; and Raghav Mishra.

The application for the patent was published on March 13, under issue no. 11/2026.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An electronic surveillance system (100) for predictive security monitoring and automated threat response includes a plurality of video capture cameras (104), a plurality of pan-tilt-zoom cameras (106), a plurality of environmental sensors (112), a plurality of access control devices (108), and a hardware processor (102). The hardware processor (102) is configured to extract pose estimation data from the video streams captured by the plurality of video capture cameras (104) and analyze temporal sequences of the pose estimation data to generate a threat probability score for detected individuals. The hardware processor (102) obtains sensor data from the plurality of environmental sensors (112) and validate detected threats by correlating the threat probability score with the sensor data. The hardware processor (102) generates control signals to the plurality of pan-tilt-zoom cameras (106) and the plurality of access control devices (108) based on validated threats."
