MUMBAI, India, March 14 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202617016199 A) filed by Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd., Gyeonggi, Republic of Korea, on Feb. 13, for 'electronic device including magnet, and case device.'

Inventor(s) include Choe, Hana; Lim, Taejun; Park, Bumjin; You, Jaehyoung; Lee, Woosup; and Choi, Sehwan.

The application for the patent was published on March 13, under issue no. 11/2026.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "According to various embodiments of the present disclosure, an electronic device may comprise: a display; a coil; a magnet assembly comprising a plurality of first magnets disposed to surround the coil, and a plurality of second magnets disposed to surround the plurality of first magnets at positions spaced apart from the plurality of first magnets by a predetermined interval; a first magnetic-field-shielding sheet which extends along the magnet assembly in a direction toward the display and is attached to the magnet assembly; a second magnetic-field-shielding sheet disposed between the coil and the display in a direction from the first magnetic-field-shielding sheet toward the display; and a third magnetic-field-shielding sheet disposed between the display and the second magnetic-field-shielding sheet. Various embodiments other than the various embodiments disclosed in the present document may be possible."

The patent application was internationally filed on Aug. 22, 2024, under International application No.PCT/KR2024/012483.
