MUMBAI, India, Oct. 11 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517089380 A) filed by Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd., Gyeonggi, Republic of Korea, on Sept. 19, for 'electronic device including antenna.'
Inventor(s) include Cho, Huiwon; Kang, Myeongkoo; Park, Gyubok; and Cho, Youngjun.
The application for the patent was published on Oct. 10, under issue no. 41/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An electronic device according to an embodiment comprises: a housing including a frame, a support member, and a non-conductive structure; a printed circuit board; a conductive part formed along a portion of the frame and including at least one protrusion; a conductive pattern that is in contact with the at least one protrusion and extends along the outer surface of the non-conductive structure; a connection part that is in contact with both the printed circuit board and the conductive pattern, thereby electrically connecting the printed circuit board and the conductive pattern; and a wireless communication circuit that is connected to the printed circuit board and configured to wirelessly communicate with an external electronic device via at least a portion of the conductive pattern. Various other embodiments may also be possible."
