According to an embodiment, the instructions may be set so that, when executed by the one or more processors, the electronic device displays, on at least a portion of the display, a search window set to receive a text input. According to an embodiment, the instructions may be set so that, when executed by the one or more processors, the electronic device receives a text input via the search window. According to an embodiment, the instructions may be set so that, when executed by the one or more processors, the electronic device identifies whether the text includes a character string representing a function and/or instruction of the electronic device. According to an embodiment, the instructions may be set so that, when executed by the one or more processors, the electronic device displays a user interface, including a selectable object for changing the settings for a function of the electronic device corresponding to the character string, on at least a portion of the display in response to the identification of the character string."
