MUMBAI, India, Aug. 22 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517043928 A) filed by Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd., Gyeonggi, Republic of Korea, on May 6, for 'electronic device for processing radio signal for satellite communication and operation method therefor.'
Inventor(s) include Yang, Dongil; Moon, Yohan; Na, Hyoseok; and Yoo, Jonghun.
The application for the patent was published on Aug. 22, under issue no. 34/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "According to one embodiment of the present disclosure, a communication circuit of an electronic device may comprise: a plurality of antennas; an antenna switch configured to match an RF signal in a designated frequency band with at least one antenna among the plurality of antennas; a first amplifier configured to amplify the RF signal in the designated frequency band so as to generate a first amplified signal; a first antenna switch connected to the first amplifier; a first filter connected to the antenna switch and allowing the first amplified signal in the designated frequency band to pass therethrough; a second amplifier configured to amplify the RF signal in the designated frequency band so as to generate a second amplified signal; a second antenna switch connected to the second amplifier; a second filter connected to the antenna switch and allowing the second amplified signal in the designated frequency band to pass therethrough; and a processor which, during communication with a satellite, causes the first antenna switch to form a second signal path and the second antenna switch to form a fourth signal path."
