MUMBAI, India, July 5 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517058762 A) filed by Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd., Gyeonggi, Republic of Korea, on June 19, for 'electronic device and method for amplifying transmission signal in time-division duplexing scheme.'
Inventor(s) include Moon, Junghwan; Woo, Youngyoon; and Jun, Minsik.
The application for the patent was published on July 4, under issue no. 27/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "This electronic device may comprise a processor, a power amplifier, a crest factor reduction (CFR) module, a digital predistortion (DPD) module, and a power supply configured to supply power to the power amplifier. The processor may be configured to: transmit a first radio frequency (RF) signal in a first transmit section of a time-division duplexing (TDD) scheme, on the basis of a first state of each of the CFR module, the DPD module, and the power supply, the first RF signal being generated from a first baseband signal; identify voltage information of a second RF signal associated with a second transmit section following the first transmit section; in a first receive section between the first transmit section and the second transmit section, change the state of each of the CFR, the DPD, and the power supply from a first state to a second state, on the basis of the voltage information; and, in the second transmit section, transmit a second RF signal generated from the second baseband signal on the basis of the second state of each of the CFR module, the DPD module, and the power supply."
The patent application was internationally filed on Sept. 20, 2023, under International application No.PCT/KR2023/014323.
