MUMBAI, India, Oct. 11 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517091894 A) filed by Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd., Gyeonggi, Republic of Korea, on Sept. 25, for 'electronic device and image output method thereof.'
Inventor(s) include Jung, Jingun; Ma, Jiyeon; Hwang, Sungjun; and Lee, Youngah.
The application for the patent was published on Oct. 10, under issue no. 41/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An electronic device is disclosed. This electronic device comprises: a display; a memory for storing at least one instruction; and one or more processors connected to the display and the memory so as to control the electronic device. The one or more processors execute the at least one instruction to: identify whether to provide a special effect on the basis of pixel information included in at least one image frame included in content, when the magnitude of an audio signal corresponding to the at least one image frame is identified to be equal to or greater than a threshold value; identify image information corresponding to the special effect in the at least one image frame when it is identified that the special effect is provided in the at least one image frame; and output a special effect image obtained on the basis of the identified image information through the display together with the at least one image frame."
