MUMBAI, India, Nov. 7 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517094607 A) filed by Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd., Gyeonggi, Republic of Korea, on Oct. 1, for 'electronic device, method, and non-transitory computer-readable storage medium for synchronization to broadcast isochronous stream.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A first electronic device is provided. The first electronic device may comprise a communication circuit. The first electronic device may comprise a processor. The processor may be configured to identify a failure of synchronization to a broadcast isochronous stream (BIS) from a third electronic device during first periodic advertisement intervals of the third electronic device, which are indicated on the basis of first information for synchronization to the BIS. The processor may be configured to, on the basis of the identification, request, via the communication circuit, second information for synchronization to the BIS. The processor may be configured to synchronize to the BIS during second periodic advertisement intervals of the third electronic device, which are indicated on the basis of the second information received via the communication circuit from a second electronic device which has been paired with the first electronic device and synchronized to the BIS."
