MUMBAI, India, Nov. 14 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517070656 A) filed by Japan Communications Inc.; Deloitte Tohmatsu Cyber Llc; Deloitte Tohmatsu Financial Advisory Llc; and Deloitte Tohmatsu Risk Advisory Llc, Tokyo, on July 24, for 'electronic authentication system and electronic authentication method.'

Inventor(s) include Fukuda, Naohisa; Kamizono, Masaki; Maeda, Yoshihiro; Kono, Tsuyoshi; Kumagai, Hiroshi; Takata, Yuta; Nomura, Kenta; Hayata, Junichiro; Deickman, Greg; and Hayashi, Masataka.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "This electronic authentication system comprises: an ID provider which issues a digital ID to a user after confirming the identity of the user; a first authentication authority which issues a first electronic certificate to the user; and a second authentication authority which issues a second electronic certificate to the user, wherein the first authentication authority and the second authentication authority combine the same digital ID issued to the user by the ID provider into the first electronic certificate and the second electronic certificate."
