MUMBAI, India, June 13 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517049303 A) filed by Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd., Gyeonggi, Republic of Korea, on May 22, for 'electronic apparatus including display.'
Inventor(s) include Sim, Hyunwoo; Lee, Sangseol; Jung, Heeseok; Park, Jungsik; Lee, Yongseok; and Lee, Soyoung.
The application for the patent was published on June 13, under issue no. 24/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An electronic apparatus according to an embodiment of the present disclosure comprises: a housing; a waterproof member arranged on one surface of the housing along the perimeter of the housing and including a waterproof material; a window cover arranged to face one surface of the housing; a display arranged between the window cover and the housing and including a bending portion located at one end of the electronic apparatus; and a molding portion extending along the perimeters of the window cover and the display and arranged on one surface of the waterproof member, wherein at least a portion of the molding portion may be arranged in one direction toward the outside of the electronic apparatus with respect to the bending portion of the display and in the other direction opposite to the one direction."
