The application for the patent was published on Feb. 27, under issue no. 09/2026.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated aqueous reservoir hygienic maintenance apparatus is disclosed, comprising a cap-integrated electromechanical assembly having a deployable, multi-articulated extension mechanism operatively coupled to a plurality of surface-engagement cleaning elements. The apparatus includes a programmable control module configured to control sequential deployment, coordinated multidirectional cleaning action, and evacuation of dislodged contaminants through integrated fluidic pathways. The system is adapted for autonomous operation within enclosed water storage tanks and employs modular kinematic actuation with sensor-limited traversal to enable comprehensive cleaning of internal surfaces without manual intervention. The apparatus is configured for compatibility with water tanks of varying sizes and geometries and is constructed using cost-effective, corrosion-resistant components suitable for operation in wet and saturated environments. The disclosed system provides an efficient, reliable, and economical solution for maintaining hygienic conditions in domestic, commercial, and institutional water storage reservoirs while reducing labor, operational complexity, and maintenance requirements."
