MUMBAI, India, Sept. 12 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517079498 A) filed by Vernet, Ollainville, France, on Aug. 21, for 'electromechanical actuating device for a fluid distribution valve.'
Inventor(s) include Maugerard, Benoit, Robert, Simon; and Millet, Gael, Serge.
The application for the patent was published on Sept. 12, under issue no. 37/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An electromechanical actuating device (1) for a fluid distribution valve, comprising a housing (10), including first (11) and second (12) parts that can be assembled fixedly to each other, an electric motor (20), including both a casing (21), which is fixedly connected to the housing by a retaining plate (40) attached to the housing, and a drive output (22) rotatable about a motor axis (X20), and a mechanical transmission system (30) borne by the housing and connecting the drive output to a shutter (4) of a fluid distribution valve (2), so that a rotation of the drive output forces the shutter to move in order to regulate a fluid through the valve. The retaining plate is designed such that it can both, prior to the assembling of the first and second parts of the housing, be fixedly attached to the second part of the housing and, when the first and second parts are in the assembled state, fixedly press the casing against the first part of the housing both parallel to and radially with respect to the motor axis."
The patent application was internationally filed on Feb. 26, 2024, under International application No.PCT/EP2024/054828.
